There is something special about a one-high school town. It builds community through shared experiences and traditions. Generations of graduates have orange and black diplomas and have Trojan letterman jackets in their closets. Being a Trojan means something. Neil's vision for the Post Falls School District is "Trojan Excellence"; an educational program of the highest caliber, led and managed in a fiscally conservative fashion, building on generations of educational successes in our schools.
Neil is committed to keeping taxes down. During his term on the board, the district has achieved the lowest levy amount compared to our neighboring districts and PFSD has kept a lean administrative staff. Instead of creating a bloated leadership bureaucracy, Neil focuses on finding and hiring high-preforming leaders and he sets high expectations.
Neil has spent 20 years in law enforcement, including service as a School Resource Officer and a Sergeant in charge of school safety. Neil will always advocate for safe and secure schools, and from his years of experience, he knows what it takes to do it.
Student achievement is why the school district exists, and Neil has very high standards and expectations for our staff in that regard. Neil actively monitors student achievement and engages with district leadership to make sure our kids are getting what they need to be successful.
